Current Open Positions

The institute is currently accepting applications for the following positions:


Project Manager: The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing a variety of cultural preservation and promotion projects. Duties will include project planning, budgeting, and coordination, as well as working with project partners and stakeholders.


Folk Artist: The Folk Artist will be responsible for demonstrating and teaching traditional folk arts and crafts to the public. This includes conducting workshops, demonstrations, and performances.


Research Associate: The Research Associate will be responsible for conducting research on traditional and folk arts, crafts, and culture. This includes fieldwork, data collection, analysis, and report writing.


Marketing and Outreach Coordinator: The Marketing and Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for promoting the institute's programs and initiatives to the public. This includes developing marketing materials, managing social media, and working with media partners to increase visibility.


Operations Manager: The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the institute. This includes budgeting, staff management, and overseeing administrative functions.


Qualifications

The Institute of Folk & Traditional Heritage is looking for individuals who have a strong passion for preserving cultural heritage and a deep understanding of traditional and folk arts, crafts, and culture. In addition, the following qualifications are required for each position:


Project Manager: Bachelor's degree in a related field, 5+ years of project management experience, and a proven track record of successful project delivery.


Folk Artist: Bachelor's degree in fine arts, music, or a related field, 5+ years of experience in traditional folk arts and crafts, and a demonstrated ability to teach and perform traditional folk arts.


Research Associate: Bachelor's degree in anthropology, archaeology, or a related field, 3+ years of research experience, and a strong understanding of traditional and folk arts, crafts, and culture.


Marketing and Outreach Coordinator: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, 3+ years of experience in marketing and outreach, and a strong understanding of the traditional and folk arts, crafts, and culture.


Operations Manager: Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, 5+ years of experience in operations management, and a proven track record of successful budgeting and staff management.
